Woman wearing invisible braces

Uneven and crooked teeth are not only unaesthetic but also cause jaw pain and are more prone to cavities. This sometimes may cause gum disease. It is very easy to straighten teeth with Invisalign.

Straighten your teeth with Invisalign

Invisalign, or clear braces, are to be worn once they are made by your dentist. The dentist makes models of your teeth and scans them to make custom dental trays. The Invisalign trays should be worn at least for 22 hours in a day. The Invisalign aligners move the teeth very gradually to ideal positions.

Clear Aligner Replacement

The clear aligners need to be replaced every 2 weeks. Your general dentist or orthodontist will give you 3 sets of Invisalign aligners at a time. When you are not wearing them it is very important to keep the clear aligners in the case provided so that they are not lost.

Invisalign Care

It is very easy to care for Invisalign dental aligners. Patients are instructed to brush them with a soft toothbrush and non-abrasive toothpaste… it is recommended not to use baking soda to clean the clear aligners. It is also very important to see your general dentist or orthodontist as recommended so that the teeth can be corrected quickly and efficiently.

Invisalign is ideal for adults who have very busy schedules and social life. Invisalign aligners do not interfere with daily activities. A person can drink coffee, tea, and even chew gum with the clear aligners in place.

It is easy to keep teeth clean with the Invisalign aligners as there are no metal brackets and wires attached to the teeth. This makes the teeth less prone to have cavities. With Invisalign you would not need to alter your diet as the food does not get caught on brackets as there are no brackets!!!!!
